Upstairs at Brownings
Our front room holds most of our stock of books of local interest, everything from rare old titles through out of print items to the newest publications. There is a selction of pamphlets and leaflets as well.
New and old railway books, secondhand miscellaneous and Welsh language items and pocket money children's books are to be found in the middle room.
"Upstairs at Brownings " also hosts exhibitions of work by local artists, often people who have not exhibited (widely) in the past.
Under the Greenwood Tree

years as technician working in the fields of video, photography and

and portrait painting. This was his first exhibition in Wales.
Georgette Nummelin is a London based Music teacher with family
links to the area. She has long had an interest in amateur
photography and this is the first display of her work.
